To receive email notices of consulting opportunities at the District, you need to set up an account in the District's Contract Administration System (CAS). Setting up an account is also necessary before you can submit a proposal electronically. To set up an account, you must select expertise codes for which you feel your firm can provide services for. You will receive system-generated emails notifying you of consulting opportunities, based upon the expertise code(s) you select. Consultant accounts are self-managed. You are responsible for updating your account to ensure that you continue to receive email notices.

Questions about an active procurement must be directed to the Contracts Analyst of that procurement, using the phone number and email address provided in the procurement. Questions about the Contract Administration System that does not involve an active procurement may be emailed to [email protected]. Expect a reply within 1 to 3 business days.

Support for Small and Local Businesses

To equalize competitive disadvantages some local businesses face and encourage businesses to establish and remain in the county, the Santa Clara Valley Water District's Board of Directors has adopted a local business preference policy. This policy includes provisions which grant preferences to local businesses during the evaluation of bids and proposals. For more information on the Small and Local Business Enterprise Program, and how you can take part in the diverse business opportunities offered by the district, please visit: Small Local Business Enterprises Program
